So, I haven't blogged for a while. I'm sorry. This summer has been a little crazy to say the least.
I'm anticipating college and what lies ahead. I'm quite excited, being excited while decorating isn't good. Paint goes absolutely everywhere. YES, I moved to shitty Mansfield. WHEY. I actually did it. No more 5a.m wake up calls anymore.
I've been drawing a lot though when I've had the chance.
I've kinda become drifted from website designing so I'm planning to start one tonight! I probably have become addicted to Twitter too. MY BAD.
ITS TAKEN OVER MY LIFE. But, following Patrick Wolf is so invigorating. Sarah and me are going to see him in November at the London Palladium. I cannot wait! Seeing him at the Leadmill was exciting enough!!
Here I come Graphic Design. (Sorry Dicko)

Fun in manchester.
Once again I'm here in a sunny Manchester.. Well I say sunny, the clouds will probably come hinder soon!
But yes I'm here visiting mum again while its half term. Its quite weird not having to worry about college work to be handed in for when we all go back. I'm anticipating what grade I got for my FMP. I hope I did well. Here's my finished website design..

I'm particularly looking forward to Sheffield, Leadmill this thursday as Patrick Wolf is playing. BIG YAY. A WEEK OF NO WORK IS FUN.

Digital Painting

Work so far of creating some digital painting for my FMP.
I downloaded some great Photoshop Brushes to help me blend colours with;
Brushes.
I'm trying to not blend the colours so much as though will they just look like I've slapped gradients onto my work.

I think the first image will become my logo for my website, I came up with a great quote/slogan that could be applied to my website.
"Nature creates life. Tracey creates Web Design." Or something along those lines.
The logos/images look quite naturist so that's why I thought of that quote.
I'm not sure of the shell shape being pink on this image though. Maybe when carrying on painting I will gradually make the colour darker.
Please leave your opinions :)

FInal Major Project - Web Portfolio
Well, here it has come. The FMP. I am hoping for a distinction for this final project, I'm trying to push myself hard and achieve as much as I can from the units set out.
Then again.. I can't be working that hard if I'm twonking around on blogger ;) But yes.. so far so good.
I've been busy taking photographs of which I could maybe display on my website.
Such as ;

I think such images will look attractive when displayed appropriately on my website design.
I think today will be a day fun filled with a bit of digital painting for my project. The only annoying thing is, is that my graphics tablet doesn't work with my snazzy PC, only with my un-snazzy laptop which I clearly HATE. Boo-h00!
I want a new A4 sized Tablet, preferably WACOM (hint hint).
Wacom rules all.
I just hope that I don't end up printing masses of designs out today and have to fork out another 20quid for bloody ink.
I reckon I should start a petition for there to be a colour printer in the Multimedia room free of charge! Whos with me?! :D
I'm a bit pickled of which design would work best though seeing as its a Portfolio of work I've completed at college. Informal/Formal?
Here is some work I've started working on so far... As a design aspect aswell as a logo aspect.
